"Unimpeded democracy makes good use of opposition parliamentary parties. It does not bode well when self interested power groups work to usurp governments."
fair enough
- though your comments appear a tad self serving - its funny isn't it that Labor couldn't/wouldn't prosecute its own industrial relations position - or are Labor and the unions one and the same (rhetorical question really)
"New union campaign sends message to Liberals: WorkChoices: whatever the name, never again"

I'd be pretty sure the Liberals would claim the unions campaign was deceptive, alarmist and targetted to harm the perception of the government. I make this comment irrespective whether the policy was right or wrong but merely in respect to 3rd party (non political - lol)intervention.
I guess, in the respect, what is good for the goose is good for the gander in a democracy.
