I know that KRM won a place (out of 7) in BHP's Xplor program. This includes a $500,000 grant and a six month mentorship. It was the final fact in my due diligence that compelled me to invest in KRM. To get to the top 7 out of 500 applications through BHP's due diligence process made buying into KRM a no brainer.
What I have since found interesting are BHP's intentions after the 6 month mentorship period. I've just read the following in an article in MiningdotCom (published yesterday).
"Sonia Scarselli, BHP Xplor’s VP, said the first cohort"[of which KRM is one] will be gathering in Brisbane, Australia, during the last week of June for an external showcase. The event signifies the end of the six-month program that helped them to take their ideas from concept to a more defined project."
It gets better:
"Asked what will happen to the first cohort of companies after the six-month period ends, the BHP executive said her team will negotiate with each company on a case-by-case scenario. “Some may not want to continue working together, in some other cases we may stay as the operator or even buy the project or the company. It has to be done as part of an ongoing conversation,” Scarselli said."
Wow!! The geology supports a high probability of a major ore body at Rana. We may not need to wait for 5 yrs for KRM to be a major mining coy if BHP has its way with great drill results. The ducks are lining up nicely. When do we expect drilling results again please?
