FAR-reaching impact from US oil spill

A moratorium on oil and gas drilling in the Gulf of Mexico following the Deepwater Horizon disaster could benefit Australian group, FAR. There is speculation the US Government move could prompt firms to shift their focus to deep-water provinces such as West Africa. FAR has exploration acreage in West Africa. The oil and gas junior, which was previously known as First Australian Resources, is reportedly discussing joint ventures in Senegal.
