Another week with prices rising on Monday and Tuesday and then flat or down for rest of week.
Magnets are showing a pattern that will compress NdPrO prices after falling multiple time in the beginning of year Lower quality magnets Nxx ((I think higher volume) rose early in May, 5 RMB / KG and have been flat since. Here is N38 for an example
Higer quality magnets xxM have fallen 3 times since 1 May for a total of 60 RMB/ KG These are used in high performance motors and generators, I think there volume is slightly smaller but it will be larger in near future. here is a chart of 38 M
The gap between metals and Oxides continues to shrink. With the gap between metals and Magnets with oxides continuing to diminish I do not think oxides can go much higher. Time will tell
though LaO and CeO Are low price they are the higher volume products both have dropped 3 times in last 2 weeks.
