the question is what is the company worth if they walk away from the drc now?

how much will these proceedings cost over the next two years. ?

what are the chances of a negotiated outcome from the arbitration or settlement before then.?

and what is happening with management and legal expenses in the meantime. ?

the fact they have to go ahead with arbitration against the DRC means things are already pretty terminal in terms of their future operations in the country. ! DRC does not have to comply with any outcome unless they choose to.

if this arbitration means they can hold up any other activity for the deposit for several years they might be able to get some sort of settlement sooner.

would you be happy to settle for 10c in the dollar ?

shareholders need to bite the bullet on this one and start making some demands of management.

sorry to see this desperate situation for shareholders. but you did decide to invest in the DRC. and should have known the governance risk associated with that
