yet here they all are again - all perpetually offended by their latest gossip
meanwhile back in the real Oz - the ship is sinking, there're not enough pumps, the pumps we have are failing and the wind is driving us further on the rocks
but, onward go the perpetually offended - seeking out the next rumour and gossip
