Now cattle are scary, in years gone by with little experience I would drive through the night but on a trip back to the mine site from Broome the amount of cattle on the road scared the shit out of me and i ended up stopping at Sandfire for the night

Having hit a roo while travelling at 120kmh one morning coming out of Kalbarri I now avoid driving those roads between Dawn and dusk

Collected a cow once, almost got the car stopped, it came down on the bonnet and collapsed the suspension
Black cow, black night
No road lighting
It rolled of the bonnet and ran away into the night, probably with curdled milk
