It's not a pointless exercise. Whether or not BL was telling truth, he has now been made aware of the concerns of the retail shareholder base, so it's been a great opportunity.
And maybe you think that retail is a bit mickey mouse and not worthy of a director's time, or that the director has somehow lowered himself by speaking with retail, but collectively as a group retail own the largest stake in SYA, and it's good to see a corporate who can still respect that.
