There's always going to people chasing that $10/month saving or being enticed to another provider offering a 6-month promotion. I've thought about it myself, but came to the conclusion that there many better ways to save money and having poor internet service and/or customer service when things aren't working is not worth a $10/month saving. Not to me anyway.
