Carnaby (no joke!) cockatoo is very sensitive local issue too, clearing its native habitat (banksia) is a big hurdle

but there are vast tracts of land and its all manageable. Carnaby have been found like pine plantations for food (there a few near Muchea) and putting out artificial nests for them have been a big win.
