Shuffling the deckchairs doesn't make the business any better. Grandma who buys a coffee 3 times a week of Michaels or DK whilst on her shopping trip has probably never heard of RFG and certainly doesn't give a sh!te about the parent company's name, or the number of shares on issue for that matter.
Its the brands that need work, not the name on the business card of the dude flogging the franchises. Fix the business and stop worrying about hiding from the past. A quality business will be profitable and then shareholder value can be achieved. No shareholder value is achieved by consolidating the register. Thats just another waste of management time and shareholder money in the short term.
