The broker notes that soft trading within Elders core Rural Services business seem to have all but ruled out any chance of a near-term turnaround.
Citing worrying top-line trends, the broker has cut FY11-12 EPS estimates by 130% and 54% and slashed its target price to $0.55 (from $1.70). The recommendations is dropped to Hold.
Target price is $0.55 Current Price is $0.82 Difference: minus $0.27 (current price is over target).
If ELD meets the Citi target it will return approximately minus 33% (excluding dividends, fees and charges - negative figures indicate an expected loss).
