Speed 3D is a privately run cold spray company that has been having success with the Army here and US navy. Probably one the reasons TTT is so run down. It took time for Speed 3D and it will take time for AL3 but I’m confident she can do it considering her results and lack of competition.3DA has her IP and machines on lease from another company with a Chinese owner. Her lead developing their atomiser tech also died of cancer and then it got taken over by US finance to run their only surviving contract op in titanium powder in the Middle East.AL3 owns her own IP and makes her own machines and software. She has delivered consistently on time and to specification till now so helpfully with a new CEO and positive results from the metal characterisation contract that should be finished by now, she will land another US Navy contract or sell another machine to the US defence sector. The oil and gas work with Chevron also seems pretty under rated but they haven’t given many details besides the continued extension of testing contracts and the recent site visit. The initial US navy contract did follow a site visit so hopefully something comes of it.
