Simon obviously doesn't want the project to fail (and he will benefit, in the same way as shareholders, if the SP increase) - but make no mistake, he has earned his fortune (many millions of dollars) in salary and remuneration over the past decade in this role. SO he is well ahead regardless. His holding in the company is comprised of free shares. He has barely bought any with his own money (a wise decision!)
