I dont think there is to much lab results involved in processing this ore. Diamond processing and gathering is a fairly simple process. Crush , screen, wash and flow it over the grease traps. Pick out the diamonds. Weigh the diamonds then compare it to the tonnage of diamond bearing ore = carats per tonne. Assessing quality of the diamonds requires a suitably qualified person and is done on an individual stone by stone basis. This maybe where there is a bit of a hold up.(or perhaps they have misplaced the shovel and cant load the ore into the cement mixer to crush it)
If there are diamonds in their dirt they have them now and know the carats /tonne so far. So maybe they are waiting to finish all processing before they release the numbers. I can live with that, but doesnt make me any more patient.
