@alonso thanks for the preview - I tend to avoid war movies - too much happening in our present century (but have seen and enjoyed some of the British classics like 'Foyle's War' and the 'Bletchley Girls' (or similar title) - I might look in on your rec. as it seems more of an exploration of a private fate during war time in exotic places and I do like Branagh and Thompson.
