Remember the Cam govt have worked with GJ. They know the way he ticks as GJ knows the way they work.
I'm not convince it things would speed up as everyone still wants the best deal for their respective sides. I would however say they they would be more determined to get this project up and running out of respect. Unfortunately respect aside, business is still business.
Personally I believe both entities will have a win so to speak with a bit more purpose and conviction now.

Glad to see us SDL holders have hearts and have displayed how human we are recently. It's not all about money. If you asked Talbot's young children if the wanted daddies millions or have daddy back I think we know the answer.
I'm still dumbfounded by the whole thing.
