I'd assume our carbon agreement won't get assurance. Why would it. This looks like a domestic decision, and probably fair enough. It was already a bit strange that we picked up so many credits, worth so much in future trading, for so little ... the fact it was worth 100s of millions of dollars, yet barely rated a paragraph in our ASX releases until the recent silent treatment, indicates it all came too easily. The Zim gov't do deserve their fair share, why should global corporates get to pillage all the credits and make a fortune and not the locals.
