Aussie shares rose for a sixth day as a US market holiday tonight helped investors look past minor falls on Wall Street on Friday.
The ASX 200 rallied 0.64% to a six-week high. Gains in banks, supermarkets and healthcare stocks offset declines in resource stocks.
US stocks eased on Friday ahead of today's Juneteenth public holiday. US equity futures were neutral ahead of the resumption of trade tomorrow night.Personal trading: Got on the right trade in BMO, then shaken out for less than I should have made. Not one for the pool room. Also a pip from ICI from obvious horizontal support. Elsewhere, good to see SLZ come good for holders - been on it but not when it mattered.
