The fact is it doesn't matter which party rules to a large degree.

These are depression times and whoever is in power cops the blame.

The last one term rule here was 1931,a comparable time.

Since things aren't going to get better for years, even a change of party will just have them scorned as well.

Personally, I think a Turnbull could have some chance of winning but heaven help us if it is Abbott.

If Abbott, then Australia will end up a laughing stock very shortly afterwards as we embrace nitwit policies.
