hwe and problems I use to work for HWE up till about 12 months ago (overseas). Lots of bureaucratic paperchasing systems in place with lots of management layers.
I still have reasonable connections internally. There is speculation, especially in Indo, that they may not be up to the task of running their bifggest job up there (30% of their order book).
I also hear that they are going to lose some of their other OS jobs.
Bruce James was from construction, not contract mining - completely different game. Good for them that he is gone but it makes you question their decision making processes in hiring him in the first place.
One other commentator made comments about the 20 year veterans of HWE who had a tendency of being toadies....very correct. The competent people saw the light and left which meant that HWE was by and large stuck with the waste....
