This is true rona, I guess a lot of it depends on personal circumstances.
If you have family willing to help you through those very difficult years and you have a true vocation, then this helps.
I was really shocked to read a post the other day about pay comparisons.
GP's pay, from memory was about $350k, PM of Australia $500k
Many companies CEO's in the millions!
I have a lot of respect for my new GP. He uprooted his family from England and moved here, because he was so frustrated with the National Health Service. He felt as if his hands were tied and he could not look after his patients as he would have liked.
As for young tradies, if they are sensible, many have bought and paid for their homes, by their late 20's, others just squandered the money.
Good on your brother, I wish him success.
