This is pretty awesome news. I don't expect it makes a lot of difference from an operational stand point since they now have 48 years of 1 million tonnes per year of SPOD6 potential up from 32 or so. Both are so far in the future that they don't really differentiate. But for a potential buyer of LLL or Its share of the JV it might matter a lot. I could see someone like Rio Tinto potentially being a partner for Ganfeng and have a multi million long life supply would fit the metics of a global miner. Also I could see Ganfeng just taking out LLL and owning the whole shebang.
