im not ‘trading’ options. I run a strategy called ‘the wheel’ making money off high IV / theta. I either get assigned, or have my shares called away, or they expire worthless.
I write CSPs and CC. So no, it’s not ‘pure gambling’ but I don’t find many Australians know much about options. I usually focus on the US markets.
Nothing funnier than seeing some clown here just blow their stack buying at a price when they could have written a CSP for that strike and been assigned on it if it expires ITM and get extra money.
