The sheer fact that's it's had a good run is warning enough, as I said I'm a contrarian, I try to buy things cheap and right now gold's not cheap.
No, I don't own gold and the reason I'm here is for the debate.
The magnitude of the coming meltdown suggested by some goldbugs makes me wonder why they're not hunkered down in some hovel out in the country where they've buried the gold, armed to the teeth awaiting the final cataclysm.

Fact is they're home with mum and the kids, a mortgage, a job, and 'fiat' money in the bank account just like everybody else.
