I know exactly what you mean, every time I ask someone what their thoughts are on The Voice, every time bar-twice when I have asked someone they think I am talking about the singing show.
I really don’t think people watch the news much anymore and they have no idea about what is happening politically nationally or state wise around them.
Years and years ago you could get some good debates going in my workplace, but not anymore.
