Be careful what you wish for Tangs. Remember Prighozin was highly critical of the lack of effort on the Russian ministry of defense's behalf. He made it clear he wanted an escalation in Russian efforts in Ukraine. If, big if, he gained any control of Russian forces the war in Ukraine could be escalated dramitically, that would not be good for Ukraine. Whether you believe it or not, Putin has been rather restrained to date, particularly in his response to provocations. A psycho like Prighozin would be detramentally unpredictable. To be honest, I don't think this course of action by Prighozin is a surprise to most. One thing I am certain of, and even you won't give me crap for assuming?, is that the US must be laughing their heads off, however I would think US/NATO professional military people would be highly concerned. Will this be a distraction, big or small to Russian military operations in Ukraine, we will see! I would expect some form of effect, just a question of to what degree.
