worth getting advice from the guy doing you tax.While I had heard of a "wash sale",never took it seriously and a couple of years ago I got badly stung.I did sell and rebuy on the same day,which made the whole exercise obvious.It seems to largley depend on your accountant and if his work will be futher audited (like a super fund).
