This graph makes sense:
Everything seems as good if not better than the previous period.
Last year they paid out 53c fully franked and about equal that on buybacks. What's that, about $1.10 of value per share in FY22?
Buyback $100m plus another $100m going. Plus minimum dividend 12c. This is looking good. W thinks this half $200m profit, which would be about 61c per share – not sure how much of this could be paid out, if that much profit is possible, or what the pay-out ratio is. (We now have about 323m ordinary shares.)
A lot of capital management going on. When will it end? In their FY report they expected the PCA coverage ratio to return to the expected target range by the end of 2024. (After the payment of declared dividends.)
Share price looks good, taking a pause below previous 2019-20 high. Blue sky from there. We have also pushed through the $1b market cap.
