The Queensland Government’s Critical Mineral Strategy announcement today is another important step towards establishing Queensland as world battery manufacturing hub.
It is exciting to see the strategy recognise the critical role zinc can play in the energy transition. Queensland has some of the largest zinc deposits in the world, including Australia’s largest zinc-producing mine in Mount Isa.
Developing more demand for our critical minerals, processes and manufacturing alongside ensuring procurement policies support local companies, will ensure businesses like Redflowow can continue to invest in Queensland, create more jobs, execute on the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan and take our world class Queensland developed clean technology to the world.
