It’s not over until it’s over, but we can only hope the numerous gaff’s by the PM on this issue and his blinkered attempt to push for an outcome without bringing the Australian community into his total confidence, will continue to strengthen the NO vote. The PM will have nobody to blame but himself. Like most, I would have no issue with an acknowledgment of Indigenous Australians in the constitution but the rule of law and government must be for all Australians equally and without favour to race. We can’t rewind the past, but we can make sure we don’t make the same mistakes and a successful YES vote perpetuate the same mistakes of the past.
