'The Australian' asserts today in 'Data Room' that BGA is a 'price taker'. I suspect it was more referring to the dairying products, not spreads.
I'm not entirely convinced: COL and WOW alike have just increased the price of Dairy Farmers 150 gram individual yogurts to $2.60 each (expensive for the size!, up from $2.50.
In spreads, as market leader with Vegemite and BGA peanut butter/Simply Nuts, I'd have thought BGA has some pricing (and shelf!) power.
