Thanks again Wack great post. I was looking at figure 5 last night and I think the reason why there wasn't a big Niobium hit has been staring me in the face. Warning Im not a geo and struggle a bit with the concepts but this is my take on it
Figure 5 shows the target oxide zone as being untested but thats exactly where we should expect the enriched area for Niobium to be, not in the carbonatite at all. Our neighbours big hits are from testing these enriched areas not the carbonatite itself. From figure 5 the target oxide zone scales up at 250 metres diameter but as stated these areas start to get bigger the further east we go, nice. It sounds like we'll be drilling this in August
Holes 7 and 8 are getting priority assays because the pXRF readings on the near-surface samples tell us more of the same type of Niobium enriched target oxide zones have been found and these are the results we should really be looking forward to. Its only the near-surface samples getting assayed because by definition thats where these zones occur. Assays are due back July/August
Ive re-read the announcement at least 5 times trying to break it down and Im hoping Ive got the jist of it now, if so its much better news than I first thought and I was happy before I was just taking it as a work in progress
