My understanding is that it was a strike at the hotel/restaurant in the vicinity of a military barracks, which also seemed to have been used by foreigners (mercenaries...?). The civilian deaths are tragic, but: if you are outraged about this, but haven't heard of Katya Kutubaeva, it would seem the media is doing it's job in only presenting the stories which present Russia in a particular light. You may find news of her death is hard to find on the main news networks. [the same poster who dismissed this incident is outraged today...]
