They're still only in pilot manufacturing, hence IMO they should have been pilot manufacturing and optimising in Brisbane for the last 15 years.

But with (if) scale-up, you'd need to plan to be within the inflation reduction act boundaries and have an efficient workforce/supply chain. Australian wages are far too expensive - much cheaper labour and much better supply chain options in USA. Thailand manufacturing is a complete joke - way away from customers, way away from Redflow engineering and (clearly from their ongoing supplier issues) way away from a quality supply chain. Not sure, but Mexican or Canadian production would also seem possible (and Mexican labour is of course much cheaper still than USA).
