The location of Bulli Ck near the NSW interconnect is key. The only planned or operational BESS close to it is the operating Lattitude 5MW/11MWh at Boggabilla. In the long term, winter solar for the southern states is likely due to an overbuild in Queensland (>1.5 times the winter output).
