Agree!
I've seen a few marketers/consultants present that "customers want to understand the BRAND and the JOURNEY of the company they're buying from!"
I don't think this is true. Most people want value & quality that they can rely on. Brand social issues are borderline gimmicky and don't appeal to many people, just the handful that virtue signal.
