if they have so much capital on their books, why dont they use it to pay down some debt? why have so much debt that is accumulating interest, isnt that just dead money having debt that is gathering interest. i never finished business school but i always though if a company is financially strong it should try and minimise its debt, especially when it has the ability to pay a large chunk of it off. why keep debt on the books for no good reason?
