I agree with you 100% . We Boomers are the generation that worked hard to accumulate our wealth and for some perplexing reason we have been successful in accumulating our wealth. We had this silly rule of spending less than we earned??? Very odd today eh?? We also realise that wealth can easily be squandered!!

So unlike people younger than us we dont spend it all like some of our children under the age of 35 to 40 often do. For some silly reason we value the wealth we have worked so hard to accumulate and have the odd splurge on oseas holidays and we really enjoy helping our kids and grand kids through life.

If that is what you term selfish......guilty as charged!!
