Non-controlling interests represent an additional $5-$6 million per year. Drop in PBT could well be due to increased interest payments on their large debt.
I expect final EPS to be at 2020 levels, somewhere around 40 cents for the full year. Anything above that is a stellar performance.
Shares have been sold off expecting much worse than this, that is likely why we saw a rally from $3.20s to now $3.50s following this announcement.
Employment is strong nationally with inflation dropping. HVN is trading at book value right now.
It would not be unreasonable to expect a SP of ~$5 if results are as expected and rate rises drop off in the 1H24.
