I postulate tha it is one of those few short periods in time when the market trades on fundamentals rather than the usual index driven TA. And it is the US deciding that offshore is going to provide better medium term returns than home. Could be good for Oz medium term as offshore buys up what they have decimated - with a little help from KRudd. Perhaps one idea for you to work on...
