News: BHP Chile's 2023 copper production set to drop due to rains, says Codelco

    SANTIAGO, July 5 (Reuters) - Chile's state-owned Codelco, the world's largest copper producer, is set for around 7,000 metric tons in production losses due to recent rains, the company's chairman said on Wednesday

    The total production for the year is set to be in the lower estimated range of 1.35-1.42 million metric tons, the chairman added.
