Look at their graph. CO2 has almost never been lower. Also the graph shows periods where global temperatures were falling when CO2 conc was rising.

When CO2 dips below 150 ppm plant life will die.

The former USSR was trying to undermine the Western economic miracle. There was no way that their parasitic system could lift their population out of poverty and match the West. They were a big disgrace to the world and especially to all those tin pot dictators in their pocket. So global warming was just another fad that they were able to mobilise a new crop of useful idiots to pursue the alarmism. Post 1990 it was the CCP which took over from the USSR and kept their (USSR) useful idiots mobilised. Most Western useful idiots don't even demand rewards other than strut their stuff on shows like CNN, BBC and of course their ABC. Flannery and KRudd come to mind.

Our current warming period has been exacerbated by excessive population growth, cutting down of trillions of trees, the building of millions of acres of black bitumen roads and many millions of acres of concrete+ tiled rooves. Putting thermometers next to carparks was a genius move by said idiots.

Why even Greta's false promise that earth would end a few weeks ago should have been the last word. ie We are enduring but another fake alarmism.
