Well worth watching. I like the way Shaun takes ownership of problem solving in the business. He mentioned that founders are not afraid to try, fail & try again. The advantages of being a market leader & (economies of scale that comes with that), & avoiding markets that competitors already have that advantage. (FDC started with a list of ~90 possible markets, down to a priority list of 37 & today FDC is in ~20markets.) In Latam they're not in Brazil, Argentina & Mexico, in Asia - not in India & China & exited Vietnam this year. He says Latam markets are High GDP, single language & sophisticated, but unregulated & messy - suiting a FDV portal to formalize the market.
