Then why did they start the BB when the coal price was at it highest?
The market cap was high which didn’t need a BB to deter predators etc.
I agree the yields was for the benefit of management…it improved the P/E ratio as the SP was dropping.
Does the board take into consideration the influence of the BB by devaluing the artificially raised PE and dividend on TSR for CEO remuneration package.
Its like the CEO getting a raise for doing nothing!
