BSX is in the box seat, re the EU's mandated & verifiable "green passport" plan for low CO2 production of Ni etc. for EV batteries from 2026 (The USA & India might possibly adopt this policy also).
BSX's Ni mining , & production of EV battery Ni precursor chemicals, using hydro power have very low CO2 emissions.
How can Indonesia's very dirty Ni laterite production (if in EV car batteries), re entry of such EV vehicles into the EU etc., compete; ditto China?

From 2026, the European Union will require digital passports forbatteries.
