Its, theoretically and there is no guarantee …a dividend is tangible and guaranteed when announced.
I’ve read commentary from a fund manger what they thought of WHC BB,
Buffet basically saying it may not be an advantage for retail investors unless they trade during BB’s.
I’m currently reading a book called the, ‘The Naked Trader’ and his assessment on BB’s.
”I’m not a great fan of BB’s. If the market is undervaluing a company, in my opinion there is probably a good reason.
So don’t rely on BB’s to improve the value that much by holding on for too long.
Probably good advice for a cyclic stock.
