A mistake to quickly read this ann and jump to the conclusion that Paddy's Lode and Midway are not signifiant discoveries after all.
Even to think that "we were tricked:"
I've now read it many times and discussed with expert others and reached the following conclusions:
Travis Craig and his team reasonably thought the geology of Youanmi South and Midway was much more straight forward than the drill results subsequently showed.
They would have been surprised when Paddy's Lode didn't run in the direction they thought it did and Midway also presented confusing results. Rob Ryan commented:
“We are still a long way from unravelling the potential of this emerging Paddy’s Lode area and we remain confident in the potential of this area to host a significant zone of high-grade mineralisation."
They ruled out further drilling based on educated guesses and immediately launched an Induced Polarised survey,


Along with drill and rock sample data the IP Survey will target gold mineralisation zones associated with sulphide to a high degrees of accuracy.
After that, 3D representation of the data will produce targeting maps such as shown below:
The next phase of drilling will be based on the 3D targeting maps produced by the IP Survey.
Paddy's Lode and Midway and perhaps other underground gold deposits at Youanmi South will be revealed.
