Not sure a large scale LNG facility would really be feasible in a land locked location. Small scale LNG to supply regional mines maybe but nothing if scale. Local distribution and the mother prize of supply South Africa either directly or by generating electricity into the continental grid is what they are targeting. SM had spoke of this many times and has already been thinking about it for best part of a decade.
