There is no doubt EVs will dominate the city, I wouldn't say I have wrote off Hydrogen in the inner city areas but I don't see Ampol, Caltex, Atlas Etc Etc applying for a mountain of permits to close down major roads in inner cities areas to install this new hydrogen infrastructure unless there is a very healthy margin.
saying that I don't see Ampol, Caltex, Atlas Etc Etc paying the high CAPEX to install new high voltage cables to the middle of whoop whoop to service a 100 residents and a small handful of businesses.
as someone said above there isnt simply one answer. This is a multiple heat race, just because you win one race doesn't mean you won the competition.

completely unrelated but I was watching Gordan Ramsays cooking trip in Vietnam on YouTube, and most parts of the country don't have refrigeration so it makes me wonder how people think EVs would work in developing economies like Vietnam
